PageLab is operated by Orbyt LLC, a New York limited liability company. This page is how to reach that company — about child safety, legal process, privacy, or copyright. Where a route inside the product is faster, the section below says so and sends you there instead, because for most of these a form in the app reaches the right people sooner than a message will.
Where to write
- Law enforcement, government, and NCMEC — official@orbytgames.com
- Copyright notices and counter-notices — official@orbytgames.com, which is the address registered for our designated agent. Full details and what a notice must contain are on the Copyright and DMCA page.
- Everything else, including child-safety correspondence from a parent or guardian, privacy requests, and support — support@orbytgames.com
- An intimate image of you published without consent — official@orbytgames.com, subject line Intimate image removal request. Removed within 48 hours, and you do not need an account. See Intimate Image Removal.
If you are not sure which of those you are, use support@. It is read and routed, and nothing about a child-safety report should turn on whether the person sending it classified themselves correctly.
Orbyt LLC
73 Liberty St.
Owego, NY 13827
United States
Post reaches us at that address on any matter on this page. Mark the envelope with the subject — Child Safety, Legal, Privacy or Copyright — because they are handled differently once they arrive.
Service of process on a New York limited liability company is made through the Secretary of State, who is the statutory agent for that purpose. Publishing this address tells you who we are and where; it does not replace that route, and nothing here waives any requirement of it.
Child safety
This is the section this page exists to carry. The Child Safety page is in force and points here, so this is a live commitment rather than a formality.
- From a parent or guardian — support@orbytgames.com. You do not need an account, and you do not need to know which reader or which post you are asking about. Tell us what you know and we will look.
- From law enforcement, or from NCMEC — official@orbytgames.com. Correspondence in this category is handled separately from ordinary support and is not worked by the same queue.
- The in-product report is faster, and it is the only route that reaches the review queue directly. A message is read by a person and acted on by a person; it does not raise a case automatically, and it cannot take a post out of circulation the way a report does the moment it is filed. If the material is on PageLab now and you can see it, report it in the product first and write afterwards if you want a record. The report control works from any signed-in account, is not behind email verification, and is not closed to restricted accounts.
- A direct message and a group can now be reported in the product — in the Android app and on the website, the same report control that a post or a profile already had. Neither client had that until recently and this page said so; for those two things the in-product route is now the faster one as well. Writing to us is still the route when you cannot reach the thing from your own account — a parent or guardian has no account to report from. Say what you saw and where; we can find a conversation or a group from a description without needing a link.
- Do not send us the material itself. Describing it is enough for us to act on, and forwarding it moves a copy of something that should not be moving. If it is child sexual abuse material, the body that should hold it is the NCMEC CyberTipline — you can report to it directly, without our permission or involvement, and it is often the faster path.
Law enforcement
official@orbytgames.com, or the postal address above marked Legal.
- Requests for user records should identify the legal authority relied on. We disclose account records in response to valid legal process, and we will say plainly that we think a request does not carry it rather than quietly declining to answer.
- Preservation requests are the urgent ones. PageLab deletes on a schedule — scheduled account erasure, media clean-up, and the pruning of IP records all run on their own without anyone asking them to. A preservation request places a retention hold, and while a hold is live every one of those refuses to run. Because the sweeps are automatic, send the preservation request before the records request that follows it.
- A hold outranks a deletion request, including one made by the account holder. If someone asks us to delete an account that is under a hold, the erasure is refused and recorded rather than performed. Material reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline is held for at least twelve months, and that period cannot be shortened or lifted early.
- Every hold has an end date. None is open-ended. Retention that nobody has to remember to end is how a well-meant hold turns into keeping someone's data forever with no basis, so a hold that needs to outlast its term has to be renewed deliberately.
Privacy and your data
Most of what people write to a privacy address for, you can do yourself, immediately, without asking us and without waiting on a reply:
- Delete your account at /delete-account. It does not require you to be signed in — losing access to an account must never be what stops you deleting it.
- Export your library from the Your library panel on your account page.
- Change what other people can see from the Privacy panel on the same page, and block a reader from Blocked readers.
For anything those do not cover — a correction, a question about what is held, or a request made on someone else's behalf — write to support@orbytgames.com. What PageLab collects and why is set out in the Privacy Policy.
One thing a deletion request cannot do is override a retention hold, and it is worth being exact about what that looks like from your side. The deletion page is open to anyone who knows an email address, so it answers identically whichever address is typed into it — that is what stops it being used to find out who has an account here. The cost of that design is real: if your account is under a hold, the request is refused, no code arrives, and the page cannot tell you why. Write to support@orbytgames.com from the account's own address and we will tell you directly rather than leave you guessing.
Copyright
Orbyt LLC has a designated agent registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. The agent's name, address, telephone number and email — along with what a takedown notice must contain, how to counter-notify, and what happens to an account that infringes repeatedly — are on the Copyright and DMCA page. Notices go to official@orbytgames.com.
You do not have to send a legal notice to get our attention. The in-product report control takes Copyright and Plagiarism as reasons and reaches the same moderation queue. What a formal notice adds is the statutory process — and its consequences in both directions, including liability under § 512(f) for a notice sent in bad faith.
What this page is not
- It is not the appeals route. If a moderator has actioned your account, the notice you were sent names the address to appeal to. Use that one — it reaches the people who can review the decision.
- It is not the terms. The agreement between you and PageLab, and questions of governing law and liability, are on the Terms of Service page.
