Delete your account
You don’t need the app or your password. We’ll email a 6-digit code to confirm it’s you.
What happens
- Your account is hidden right away and permanently deleted on or after 30 days.
- Your posts, reviews, quotes, messages, images, lists and reading activity are removed.
- The one exception: anything of yours that other people have replied to stays, with its text removed and shown as “[deleted]”, so those conversations still make sense. Your name is not on it.
- Changed your mind? Sign in within 30 days and your account is restored, exactly as it was.
Content that has been reported, and any moderation record, is kept as long as we’re required to keep it — deleting an account doesn’t erase a safety investigation.
